            I am installing Achievo for the first time and have already
run into a strange problem. I created the database and edited
config.inc.php with the pertinent info. When I connect as administrator
for the first time, it gets to the first step which is checking the db
and gives me this error: 

Unknown connection problem
There was an unknown problem when I tried connecting to the database.
Please verify your database setup and the database configuration in
config.inc.php. If you think you have fixed the problem, you may click
'Retry'.

            I double checked that the database exists, that the username
and password are correct and that I can connect to it from the command
line. The httpd and mysql logs show no errors. Is there anyway to get
better a more descriptive error from Achievo? Here is my setup
configuration:

RHEL 3.0
PHP Version 4.3.2 as a module
Apache 2.0
Achievo 1.1.0 (downloaded today)

            Any help is appreciated. TIA
