Howdy,
I have been asked a question about Acheivo and scaling up. How many
hits can an average server running a PHP app handle at once before
bugging out? Is the limitation going to be Acheivo and PHP or will you
run into some more basic ability of the server to handle and process
requests? What I would really appreciate knowing. Is if anyone has an
enterprise level PHP system that takes many hits and how well it is
handles them and if any one has scaled Achievo itself up and how well
the system handled it. A small description of the system would really
help a lot. I have had a hard time finding any comparative benchmarks
to justify using PHP to say .NET or Java which is what I need have
first to even thing about using Achievo.
