RE: [achievo] 'Weektimereg' module usage

Ivo, thanks for the reply (and I'll read through the bugzilla entries before
sending any more e-mails ;-) ). I'll finish my evaluation of Achievo to get
a complete wish list of changes for your comment before joining the
sponsorship program (we will likely start using Achievo before making any
changes, so we start seeing immediate benefits!).

To other users and developers, can you explain how you manage Achievo
updates after having made small changes to the Achievo code? (an example I'm
thinking of would be supporting the weekly time registration module only,
and not making daily time registration even available to users). Do you
manually check the files in an update to determine if your changes would be
clobbered? (I didn't post this to the developer mail group because
commenting out features doesn't seem to be true development)

Thanks,
Dale Scott

contain some patches to make sure that the 'specification required' is
honoured (by making sure that you can not book on activities that
require a remark, in the weekmode).

The plan is that some day, you can enter a remark in the weektimereg
too, by having a single remark box near the bottom, that is refreshed by
javascript when you click an entry in the weektimereg screen. But we'd
have to have a sponsor to implement that. (I guess it'd take me about 6
hours, so if you're willing to invest a bit in the project, see
http://www.achievo.org/support/sponsor )

I'd definitely like to read it. If I like it, I can put it on the site.
You may also want to have a look at
http://www.achievo.org/support/manual/tour, you may want to copy stuff
from there for your manual.

Greetings,
Ivo
