Hello Ivo,

Haven't got to testing 1.0 RC2 yet, but it seems to me that 1.0 RC1 is much slower than 0.8. Is this true, or is it just me having this problem? You might not notice the difference on a fast new server, but on an old one (e.g. K6-2/450, which used to be quite enough for Achievo 0.8) you can definetly feel it.

If this is indeed true, do you think is there anything that can be done (within reasonable limits), either by code optimisation or by database management (e.g. adding new indexes)? Or should users with old servers consider a hardware upgrade before moving to Achievo 1.0?

Please don't get me wrong: I'm not criticizing here. I understand that Achievo is getting more and more complex, hence the need for more processing power.
