This is the billing module which allows you to define hourly rates per
project, per employee, per customer, per activity or any combination
thereof.
It will then allow you to generate a bill and it will keep track of the
hours that are already billed so you can create multiple bills per project.
Sounds good huh? In theory it does.
In practice, this module was created by several students, and
unfortunately it contains some bugs which prevent the module from being
used properly
(http://bugzilla.achievo.org/buglist.cgi?product=Billing+Module&bug_status=NEW).
Chris Schurmann posted a message on this list a few days ago which
describe some of the bugs that are present (sorry Chris, I did not reply
to your mail yet).
There's quite some time needed to fix the bugs I think, time which at
the moment I don't have. I have a few potention sponsors for fixing some
of the bugs, and I hope that I can combine that to be able to make the
billing module workable. Unfortunately, since I didn't write the module
myself, it's hard to estimate how much time I would need to fix it.
First I would need to fix the bugs that prevent us from propertly
testing the module, and only then we will be able to see if the bill
will actually be properly calculated.
