I realize it's a little thing but at the bottom of the day view page, I see
a small black dot which appears to be a couple of nested tables. is there
supposed to be a replication of the previous day, today, next day and
employee selector down there, or some other message down there.

On a side note, I've been curious how to control what hour range appears on
the scheduler, 8:00 to 24:00 seems like a strange block, meetings can start
at 7:00 some times.
