Re: [achievo] Achievo resource planning module

Franco,

Could I get a copy of the add-on modules you've created they sound great. Also do you know of anyone that may have created a module that would allow a query of the project notes base on the tech or project with a date line for being date and ending time for the query.

Thanks
Chris Schurmann

Hi,
I am new to the list but I am following Achievo developement since its 0.4.x
versions.
We think it is a very good project, very well written and managed.

Until now, we used it mainly for time registration purposes, but we are
planning to implement the latest versions to manage our projects.

A function of particular interest for us is the resource planning module,
that was present in some previous versions but no more on 0.9.4. I've seen
it is on the to-do list on your developement page, and I would like to know
if you can make a prevision on when this module will be released.

By the way, we have been implementing some functionalities as external
modules:

- a document manager: users can add documents related to a project. Each
document belongs to a customizable (from the Achievo interface) category,
eg. Technical Annex, Workplan...

- an auto-coding feature: we needed an explicit code for each project. The
code is auto-generated when the user creates a new project with a prefix
that is dependent from a certain category. The list of categories is
customizable from the Achievo interface.

- a status field related to the project: we added a field to describe the
status of the project (proposal, developement, completed, rejected...). The
status list is also customizable from the Achievo interface.

If someone of you is interested in these functionalities, simply mail me.

Last thing:
we experience (0.9.3 and 4) a problem with the correct visualization of the
templates. At the first access to a page, the font and other graphics
elements are not correctly rendered (eg. the font that appears is Times New
Roman, the background of the table cells is missing etc.). The page appears
in its correct form only reloading it (ie. reloading each single frame). Any
idea?

Best Regards,

Franco Giovannini
