I meant the thread 'Beginning' by Scott Thurmond. 'new user setup' was 
his first problem, not being able to login. The 'beginning' thread is 
about not being able to save anything.

So we now have 2 users with the same problem. It would be nice if we can 
solve this together.

Let's identify the common factor.

What version of PHP are you using? Yesterday, we found out a problem 
with PHP 4.1.2 in another application, where session management didn't 
work correct. Scott annd Dirk, are you by any chance both running php 4.1.2?
