The easiest way is to ask the one who installed PHP on your server.

Another possibility to check this is:

Create a file in your achievo directory called phpinfo.php
In this file, put this line:

<? phpinfo(); ?>

Then browse to the file (for example http://server/achievo/phpinfo.php).

You should then get a page with an enormous amount of information about your php installation. Search in this page (using your browsers 'find in page' feature for 'mod_php'. If you can't find it, you're probably running in CGI mode.

(if anyone has a simpler way of determining this, which doesn't involve looking in httpd.conf files, please let me know)

Oh, and if you get a login prompt when browsing to this phpinfo.php file, you can be sure that it's the .htaccess problem mentioned in the previous mail.

Greetings,
Ivo
