It's already possible to add your own modules, but you probably don't know how :). That's why Ivo is working on (good!) documentation. When he's back from his holiday break I can ask him when the docs (probably) will be finished (or he probably will respond to your message on the list). Anyways the next development release will contain the resource planning module which can act as a good example :).
