I have been playing with achievo a bit to investigate the possiblities. I must say the structure is not easy but after a while you get an idea of where to find things. The main problem for me was that the code and the layout where in the same functions over and over again. I am used to work with phplib. Here the two are seperated.

I experimentend a little to do the same with achievo. So I created some general functions without display thing:

function specialRecordArray: retuns an array of rows. The functionality which is used here is copied several times in the class.node.inc file. By seperating the layout, you can reuse this funcion more often without coping.

The result of specialRecordArray can be used immediatily bij the function ret_table (in clas.layout.inc) for display.


Further I implementen XML generator for a class.
