I've been looking at a clever set of PHP scripts that can be with or without
frames, as in the "menu_button" deal at:
http://www.circle.ch/scripts/

I haven't tried to integrate it with Achievo, but conceptually it seems like
it could provide two ways of seeing the sub-menu: (1) as is, and (2)
expandable list from the main frame/page.
