First you must decide how you want to edit this from the gui point of 
view. Do you want to edit a subclass and select the parent from a 
dropdown (like the coordinator field in the project edit menu), or do 
you want to edit the parent class, and see a list of its subclasses 
there (like the phases in the project edit screen)? (both is also possible).
