Congrats
Hi all,
I set up achievo 2 weeks ago, along with a few other PHP ProjectMgmt/Collab/Groupware suites
to try them out and choose the one that would fit our needs, i.e. 7-10 people, small (few days) to big (>100 days) projects running
at the same time.
We found that achievo was some great piece of work, very easy to get people to work with, from the developpers to the account
manager (who asked if she could have her own private achievo ;-).
So congratulations to the Achievo Team and keep up the good work. We just love here this templating thing, so convenient !
As for what could be done, I actually think that there is little need for things like chat,e-mail,newsfeeds,project sites,etc...What
achievo does it does it right.
My votes *and help* would go for features such as :
*** resource planning (** n?1 wish though I know it's beeing tackled **)
** better progress/status tracking (not just hours and the active/inactive
thing)
** calendaring (but waiting for 0.9 to see what it brings)
** better project ToDo / Note management because unless I got it wrong I
find the actual ones close to useless
** Project documentation/links/files management
* derived personal ToDo and Calendaring, coupled to some Outlook,Evolution,
Notes stuff (PHProjekt just came out with one syncing tool with the 1st)
* automatic project assignment (for small projects, ala TroubleTicket)
* integration into some bigger framework (Horde ?)
* better looking and themeing (just modified some layout.inc stuff)
-
Anyway, Thanks for this great tool, I'd enjoy helping out though I didn't quite get if there was any CVS up. If interested, I can
submit some french translation to start with...
Cheers,
Francois Gaude.
