You may want to read the installation instructions after downloading the Achievo package.
Add-on modules
There are several add-on modules available. These can be downloaded from the modules page.
System Requirements
To install Achievo, you need the following:
- A webserver capable of running php4 scripts (Apache is a good choice, http://www.apache.org)
- PHP4 (http://www.php.net, version 4.3.1 or newer)
- MySQL (http://www.mysql.org)
The following are requirements for optional features of Achievo:
- There are several graphical charts in Achievo. For these to work, PHP should be installed/compiled with GD support (http://www.php.net/gd).
- To make use of the OpenOffice document generator, both the 'zip' and 'unzip' binaries should be in the path.
- To make use of the cronned reminder scripts, you must be able to setup cron on the machine where you install Achievo.
License
Achievo is Free Software, and is distributed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). Be sure to understand and agree to the terms stated in this license before you download Achievo.
Development version
Achievo is always in development. The developers' version of Achievo is just that, for developers. It isn't promised to be stable, or easy to use.
But if you want to help test or develop the latest Achievo, download the latest development version.
NOTE: At any given time the developers version of Achievo may be wildy instable, may crash your server randomly, it may even make your pets nervous. (thanks to The Gimp website for that one)
The development versions are provided as nightly builds only, which can be downloaded here.
