Tools are important. They help developers do more in less time. The Achievo project recommends the following software development tools:

 phpMyAdmin

phpMyAdmin is a tool written in PHP intended to handle the administration of MySQL over the WWW. Currently it can create and drop databases, create/drop/alter tables, delete/edit/add fields, execute any SQL statement, manage keys on fields, create dumps of tables and databases, export/import CSV data and administrate one single database and multiple MySQL servers.

 SciTE

SciTE is a GUI-based single-document editor which uses the Scintilla editor component. It rapidly styles most common programming languages with good control over how syntactic elements are displayed, and features folding for C++, C, Java, JavaScript, Python and PHP. Styling of HTML also styles embedded scripts written in VBScript, Javascript, or Python.
